När du anmäler dig till Uppsala Schackfestival 2026 samlar vi in följande uppgifter:

Vid kortbetalning via Stripe hanteras betaluppgifter (kortnummer m.m.) direkt av Stripe och lagras aldrig hos oss.

Hur länge sparas uppgifterna?
Dina uppgifter sparas under festivalperioden och raderas senast 90 dagar efter festivalens slut (dvs. senast november 2026), såvida vi inte har laglig skyldighet att spara dem längre (t.ex. bokföringslagen kräver att kvitton sparas i sju år).
Dina rättigheter
Du har rätt att begära tillgång till, rättelse eller radering av dina personuppgifter. Du har också rätt att lämna klagomål till Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

Återbetalningspolicy
Avanmälan senast 24 timmar före turneringens start berättigar till full återbetalning av startavgiften.
Avanmälningar som inkommer senare än 24 timmar före start återbetalas inte.
Skicka din avanmälan med namn och turneringsnamn till info@uppsalachessfestival.se — skriv "Avanmälan" i ämnesraden.
Återbetalning sker till samma betalningsmedel som användes vid anmälan.
What data do we collect?
When you register for Uppsala Chess Festival 2026, we collect the following information:

Card payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored by us.
Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is Uppsala Skolschacksällskap (USSS), reg. no. 802003-4723, Uppsala, Sweden.

How long is data retained?
Your data is kept during the festival period and deleted no later than 90 days after the festival ends (i.e. by November 2026), unless we are legally required to retain it longer (e.g. accounting regulations may require receipts to be kept for seven years).
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Refund Policy
Cancellations received at least 24 hours before the tournament's scheduled start are eligible for a full refund of the entry fee.
Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the start are not eligible for a refund.
To cancel, email your name and tournament name to info@uppsalachessfestival.se — please write "Cancellation" in the subject line.
Refunds are issued to the same payment method used at registration.
